Achieve your goals on a budget

The new year brings with it the hope – and pressure – of becoming a new you. You may want to better your style, your career and your life in general, but how do you go about it when money’s tight after the holiday season’s expenditure?

We take a look at three popular aims, and how you could meet your target on a budget:

1)      Get the career you want

You may feel at a loss as to what is out there and who to turn to for advice. A careers advisor may sound like a very expensive option, but did you know that the internet holds a wealth of information about careers and the aspects involved in them, along with the qualifications you need to get there? Check out the National Careers Service here for starters.

2)      Improve your figure

We don’t all have the time to spend hours each week slaving away in the gym. While fitness is of course important, you could get a quick, figure-sculpting fix to see you through that special occasion. The range available from Marisota, which you might want to browse here, aim to slim you down nicely.

3)      Set yourself a feel-good challenge

What if you could make yourself feel great and help others? If you do a challenge for charity – a run for Macmillan charity for example – you’re sure to get a feel-good boost!
