If you are trying to pay off debt or even set some money aside to build yourself a little nest egg, you may be considering trying to maximum your income. If you are unable to do that by working any extra hours or taking on a second job, you should look to maximise the yield of your existing assets.

One easy way to raise cash is to let out your own home or holiday property to others. Firms such as Rent My Cottage  act as agents to assist those who wish to make money from their home. If you are lucky enough to live in the countryside or on our beautiful coastline you may be in a prime position to make money from your property.

If you have a second home you may wish to rent it out when you do not need it for your personal use. For those who live in their property most of the year you may wish to make your property available for those weeks when you are away from home in order to help fund your own holidays and breaks away. Whatever your personal circumstances, to read more about the benefits of letting out your home, see: here
